These are the books that I've finished reading so far

These are the books that I've finished reading so far and I thought that I should give them a review.

Novels:

1) The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Rating: 5/5

Review: It's a very good books and my favorite novel so far. The ideas for this novel are vengeance, justice, forgiveness, and justice. This was based on a true story in Paris about a man name Pierre Picaud. He was falsely accused by his false friends and was imprisoned for seven years. While he was in prison, a dying prisoner bequeathed him a hidden treasure. After Pierre was released from prison, took the possession of the treasure and used it for his revenge against his false friends.

2) Angels & Demons by Dan Brown
Rating: 5/5

Review: This got to be the best novel written by Dan Brown using his fictional alter ego, Robert Langdon. The novel is all about the rivalry of Science and Religion, and those were represented by Illuminati and the Roman Catholic Church. Robert Langdon used the sculptures in Rome and in Vatican to know where the Path of Illumination can lead them to stop the Vatican City from being destroyed by an explosion.

3) The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Rating: 5/5

Review: This novella was a beautiful masterpiece about an aviator met The Little Prince. The Little Prince showed how to live in a simple way through his journey.

4) Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Rating: 4.5/5

Review: This fantasy novel is really amazing. It's all about the journey of Eragon and his dragon, Saphira. I like the story but it was mixed by some elements of Lord of the Rings, Dragonlance, and Star Wars.

5) The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Rating: 3.5/5

Review: This novel was about the cover up of story of Jesus Christ and was discovered through Leonardo Da Vinci's painting, The Last Supper, and through the underground group called Priory of Sion. The story was okay but the thing that I didn't like are the lies about the our Lord, Jesus Christ.

6) The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
Rating:4/5

Review: This novel was all about Freemasonry in USA and the Legends and myths behind the fraternity. I have gave it a 4/5 because I felt no suspense in the story.

Autobiography

1) 700 Sundays by Billy Crystal
Rating: 5/5

Review: Billy Crystal, an American comedian, wrote this book about the people who made the man he is. This also serves as a memoir of his father, Jack Crystal, who died of heart attack when he was 15 years old.

Religious Books

1) Exorcism: The Experience with the Paranormal and the Occult by Fr. Jose Francisco Syquia
Rating: 5/5

Review: This book is all the about the experience of a Catholic exorcist with demonic possessions, the paranormal, the underworld, the Devil, and the occult. He wants us to strengthen our faith in God and the awareness of the existence of the Devil.
